After spending Christmas at Surestay Plus Hotel in Black River Falls, we enjoyed the deluxe king suite with a Jacuzzi tub and fireplace balcony. the view of the pond from the balcony was delightful, and we will definitely return for another stay. the staff was friendy and welcoming upon our arrival. Unfortunately, our room had black mold in the shower and throughout, which was a major turn-off. the cleanliness was lacking, and it was concerning. We couldn't stay another night. Housekeeping needs to step up their game in this regard. Despite the cleanliness issue, the breakfast was decent with a nice touch of lemon water in the lobby. the room itself was average, with minor maintenance issues like a poorly fitted sheet and lack of toiletries. the bed was comfortable though, making it suitable for a short stay. In terms of amenities, the hotel offers an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, and a bar with a pool table. the location is convenient for exploring recreational sites like Lake Arbutus and Lake Wazee.
